Aluspray is an aluminium wound spray which forms a weather resistant protective barrier for wounds and sensitive skin for horses, cattle or other animals kept outdoors.
Forms a protective barrier against moisture, micro-organisms (e.g. bacteria and fungi including Dermatophilus congolensis, the causative agent of Mud Fever), dirt, flies and other insects
Shields sensitive skin from diarrhoea, post castration, post dehorning.
The fine mist propelled means Aluspray completely covers the wound and can be applied without damaging the wound tissue
Prepare area to be wrapped. Use cotton if appropriate.
Find marked end of wrap and pull off several inches.
Stretch lightly while wrapping, do not apply too tightly.
Cut or tear wrap when enough is applied and gently smooth the loose end into the previously wrapped area. For high action applications tape may be added.
GOLDEN HORSESHOE FURAZONE DRESSING A topical, odorless, anti-bacterial ointment, containing 0.2% nitrofurazone dissolved in a water-soluble base of polyethylene glycol. Nitrofurazone has been proven effective by FDA, National Research Council and National Academy of Sciences to be effective for the prevention or treatment of surface bacterial infections of wounds, burns, cutaneous ulcers. Apply directly on the lesion with a spatula or first place on a piece of gauze. Use of a bandage is optional. The preparation should remain on the lesion for at least 24 hours. The dressing may be changed several times daily or left on the lesion for a longer period.
Elastic gauze bandage made from 60 % polyamide and 40 % viscose. Easy to put on even on all cone-shaped body parts and joints. Hand washable, soft and porous.
